2009 Christmas Tree.... and it's shaken... not stirred...

As usual... we went to get our tree this weekend.. I love this time... I get to enjoy the tree for the ENTIRE holiday season... so here is the trip to the tree farm.. our lovely tree... and all that happened while we were there.. (OK, not really....)

SO it was a long day in the truck for Hannah.. yes, I know it is blurry, but I was laughing and it was bumpy...

So here it is... the tree... it really didn't take us long to find it this year.. I think I am getting better at saying... "yup... this is it.." and not thinking something better is out there...

Pat doing the guy thing and cutting the tree down.. quick.. easy..

And, as I said.. our tree was SHAKEN... NOT STIRRED... it was funny... we have pine cones on the top of our tree, so when it was shaken to get stuff out.. our tree sent "stuff" flying...
Then they wrap it up for us before helping us put it on the car...



And here it is.. The finished product for 2009!

What has been going on....

Well, a long time ago.. OK, not a LONG time ago.. but about 1 1/2 months ago.. (so a long time ago) right after one of the 1st snows.. Hannah made this cute little snowman and left it for me right by the garage.. Very Very cute..


And Miss Sasha Blu was really getting into the Christmas spirit.. in fact this is about all that she did to the tree this year. I was very glad about that.. I was worried that she would crawl into it.. but NO..


AND even Gretel likes Twilight... proof...



And today.. Hannah did another Master Class. This time it was with a cast member from Grease.. And this was a big one since we had just seen the show. It was pretty cool that Ms. Chandra had a male dancer for them. Joseph was from Phoenix, AZ.. and this was his 1st time in MN.. Welcome to MN.. it was 1 degree at the start of class today.. and wind chill of about -20!!!
I watched the last few minutes of class and got to sit in for the question and answer session! WHAT a blast!
He taught them a dance from the dance contest.. the hand jive! I guess he is a hand jive specialist.. Not sure how you become a hand jive specialist.. but he was really good!
Anyway.. that is what had been going on..
I will try to post more but well.. with me, you never know!!

O' Christmas Tree, O' Christmas Tree...

Today was the annual Johnson trip to the tree farm to cut our Christmas tree... No we couldn't do this yesterday when there wasn't any snow.. and it wasn't cold.. NO we wait until today.. snow and cold and all..

This is Hannah and Pat right after we got out of the truck to look at the trees.. So many to look at.. Where or where do we start???

Off in the distance, after looking at tree after tree we see it... OUR tree...

Isn't she beautiful? Doesn't she have personality???





Does Hannah know just what we want??
She wanted us to know that this is the tree.. that it really does have personality! She didn't want us to go too far and loose the tree..
Hmmm... wonder if it will be too tall for the dining room??

Like I said... isn't she just beautiful?? WOW!!!

On another note... It's November 30th.. I have posted a card everyday this month! That was my goal. I wanted to prove to myself that I could do it. Now that November is over, and I have actually posted everyday... I don't know if I will post everyday with a new card or not. Thanks for all of you who posted a comment and kept me going..

One more thing... I know that the count down for Twilight is done.. but he is so cute and "HOT" (as Hannah puts it) that I am just keeping him there.. I might take him down at some point.. but for now.. I like looking at him...
