Duck, Duck, Tooth...
DUCK.... DUCK...
Hannah was so excited today! We were getting ready to go to dance class, when she yelled, "There are ducks in the back yard!"
Sure enough, we have 2 ducks living in the back yard! In the corner there is a fenced area that is filled with leaves, and the female duck was in the middle, I am guessing with a nest! I hope that no one bothers them, and we will soon have a little duck family! I wonder how Grets will like that! One of Hannah's "fangs" is now history! When we got home from dance tonight, she pulled the little sucker out! One down, one to go...
Wonder what the tooth fairy will leave tonight!

Scrapbook
I found the instructions on how to make this little scrapbook somewhere.. I think probably Splitcoast... anyway.. I have been working on it for about 2 weeks.. not that it was hard, actually it was very easy, but the finishing of it was the difficult thing. I just didn't know what embellishments I want to use.. so that is why it is blank on the front. When I figure out what I want to put into it, I will do the "self adhesive die cuts" or something on. But for now, I thought I would post what I got done..
Dragonfly Case
I needed a thank you for "Grandma Sharon" from Hannah. She dropped off her belated birthday gift and a belated Easter gift on Friday, and I am a stickler for Hannah writing thank yous within days of getting gifts! So, I thought a butterfly would work, too! so I made this one! Same idea, only the wings are a bit different to make it a butterfly! So this will go out in tomorrow's mail with some nice wonderful words written from Hannah!

A Little of This, A Little of That

This is a picture of the snow we got the other day.. on our deck, I measured 3" at 4:30 pm.. it was still snowing hard, and I know that we had a lot more after that..

These are my orchid plant. I have had it for 18 years. My mom sent it to Pat and I for our 1st anniversary.. It was from the same grower who I got my wedding bouquet flowers from. I had over 100 phalaenopsis orchids in my bouquet. I am always excited when it blooms.. and the flowers last for a good 2 months or more. I am always amazed that it hasn't died in all this time, with all the moves and all.

As I was taking pictures of the orchid, Gretel the Greyhound was right there.. I think that she wanted her picture taken too.. so.. But look at her.. how cute can you be?? (I think that she wanted a treat really...)
Hannah and Pat playing Guitar Hero.. I think that Hannah won.. or at least gave Pat a run for his money..
